To celebrate Pride month, we’ve partnered with four organisations across Europe that are spreading inclusivity and connection in the outdoors. Because, after all, everyone should feel at home in nature.
Meet the organisations
Operating throughout the UK, OutdoorLads runs a range of social outdoor activities for gay, bi and trans guys in the outdoors. Fun, friendly and accepting are the cornerstones of all their events and their members take pride in being a part of the OutdoorLads community.
is a tonic, it’s
Italy’s main LGBTQ+ non-profit organisation, Arcigay has been fighting for equality since its creation in 1985. The local Foggia community, who we’re supporting this year, aims to unite people of different backgrounds through social events and activities.
"Outdoor activities make you feel free. Take this idea of freedom and climb mountains with it."
GAY OUTDOOR CLUB
Founded in Munich in 1986, the Gay Outdoor Club is the gay and lesbian section of the German Alpine Club. It runs a whole host of outdoor activities focused on experiencing and enjoying nature together, regardless of sexual-orientation, gender and identity.
"In the Gay Outdoor Club we all love the mountains and the special thing is that no one has to explain themselves and we can all be whatever we want."
Chamonix-based Le Gloss is a meeting place for outdoor lovers from the LGBTQ+ community. It hosts both winter and summer activities designed to bring people together to experience nature and discover what they’re capable of.
