Explore the technologies

An innovative offset baffle construction minimises bulk and maximises warmth, using 800-fill ProDown™ in an extremely lightweight, high-loft package.

The world’s most advance breathable-waterproof outerwear technology. For the first time ever, we’ve added air permeability to a waterproof membrane.

A revolutionary breathable down construction pairs high air-permeable face fabric with down-proof baffles, providing breathable warmth when highly active.

This cutting-edge technology uses a full-loop fabric construction that optimises weight and thermo-regulation to provide all-day comfort.

This performance-driven baselayer utilises yarns that actively pull moisture from the skin and expel it to the outside of the garment.

Discover Trans-Antarctica Expedition

Every journey is a milestone.
In 1990, The North Face sent an international team of explorers on the first dogsled crossing of Antarctica—an extraordinary physical feat across 4,000 unforgiving miles.
Their mission was to study climate change and raise awareness for Antarctica’s endangered environment. Their partner was designed to face the coldest continent. It became a barrier between failure and glory. A symbol of unity that brought the whole world together.
