Let's talk rubbish for a moment.
If we took all the plastic bottles and non-alcoholic cans littered throughout Europe each year and stacked them end to end, they'd form a peak roughly 10,000 times higher than Mont Blanc.
* Alongside activists and partner organisations, we're coming together to help clean things up.

Paisaje Limpio

Clean Landscape Day is a leading Paisaje Limpio initiative that encompasses environmental volunteering, awareness raising and research activities. It focuses on cleaning up and analyzing litter in natural environments, with the aim of encouraging greater involvement, communication and pro-environmental behaviour among participants. This event promotes participation in "Citizen Science", in which volunteers collect data on litter found using the eLitter app. This data provides valuable information to society, organizations, the European Union and the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITERD), thus driving the search for solutions to the issue of littering.
